Supplies ($5)

• 2 Wooden Dowels or Popsicle sticks

• Yarn of various colors

Directions

1. Cross the 2 sticks to form an X

2. Secure the sticks by wrapping a piece of yarn around the intersecting points… you can either knot the yarn or trap the tail under the yarn as you begin to wrap.

3. Wrap the yarn a few times in one direction and then in the other to make sure the sticks are stable.

4. Wrap your yarn around one stick close to the center, and take it over to the next stick. Wrap it around that stick and continue the process.

5. Feel free to change yarn colors to achieve the design you would like.
